Castle & History
The castle has a long history — one or two dukes and kings have lived here during their lifetimes. It has only been a wedding venue since the extensive general renovation in the historic style in 2015.
The ballroom, castle park, chapel, lake, and interior rooms are all on one site and can be combined into one continuous day — without changing locations and without public foot traffic.

Rooms & Grounds
Historic ballroom with access to the terrace, 16th-century castle chapel, bride and groom rooms, approximately 50,000 square metres of castle park, and a private lake with a lake island accessible via a bridge.
Yes. In addition to the chapel, there are areas in the castle park and by the lake for an outdoor ceremony.
The rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with underfloor heating. Projectors, screens, and sound systems are available for events. The castle grounds are illuminated in the evening.
That depends on the schedule and the areas used — ballroom, park, and marquee solutions differ significantly. We coordinate the appropriate size with you personally instead of naming a flat figure here.

Many classic services can be booked directly through the venue. If required, we can recommend service providers and handle coordination. By arrangement, you can also bring your own service providers.
